[The video feed cuts on to reveal a very confused-looking young man just barely out of his teens wearing a rather ornate set of heavily-decorated Aztec clothes, including a heavily feathered headdress.]

Okay, whatever's going on...I'm pretty sure I never signed up to replace...

[Ronnie looks at the paper again and frowns because as far as he can tell someone just decided to spill Scrabble tiles everywhere and use that to make up a name. Mxyzptlk wasn't even that bad in comparison...]

Hui...hr...hooo...heetz?...heetzilla?...uh...that.

[He jabs at the name on the paper by way of explanation. "Huitzilopochtli" is a mouthful, and it is clear he will likely fail forever at pronouncing it.]

And if there's anyone else out there, don't worry--I'm pretty sure the Justice League's going to be along to rescue us real soon. Weirdo mass kidnappings like this are bound to get their attention.

Justice League?

Though, the chances are that they won't be able to come.

You know, the Justice League. Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, the Flash, Firestorm...those guys.

[He just can't resist lumping himself in with the big guns, even if he's only a reservist at the moment...]

They've had a lot of experience at dealing with weird stuff like this, y'know.

[He looks at the paper again, frowning. He's still trying to put this into a context he understands.]

They've already beaten the Queen of Fables once...

Those sound like American hero names.

At any rate, that seems like an unlikely thing to hope for - this world is allegedly separate from others.

Well, Wonder Woman's Greek...and Superman's from Krypton...

But the Justice League's been to other worlds before. I--

[He cuts off before saying he knows because he was there. He thinks he has to protect that secret identity, after all.]

I...see it on TV all the time. They've dealt with parallel realities and that sort of thing before.

I don't read those stories or watch those movies, so I don't know the backstories.

Though it sounds like they're real, to you.

[He's just kind of staring now.]

Well, yeah. Because they are real.

So what is in your world, then? Sounds kind of boring without any superheroes.
