[The video feed cuts on to reveal a very confused-looking young man just barely out of his teens wearing a rather ornate set of heavily-decorated Aztec clothes, including a heavily feathered headdress.]
Okay, whatever's going on...I'm pretty sure I never signed up to replace...
[Ronnie looks at the paper again and frowns because as far as he can tell someone just decided to spill Scrabble tiles everywhere and use that to make up a name. Mxyzptlk wasn't even that bad in comparison...]
Hui...hr...hooo...heetz?...heetzilla?...uh...that.
[He jabs at the name on the paper by way of explanation. "Huitzilopochtli" is a mouthful, and it is clear he will likely fail forever at pronouncing it.]
And if there's anyone else out there, don't worry--I'm pretty sure the Justice League's going to be along to rescue us real soon. Weirdo mass kidnappings like this are bound to get their attention.

Though, the chances are that they won't be able to come.
Re: [Video]
[He just can't resist lumping himself in with the big guns, even if he's only a reservist at the moment...]
They've had a lot of experience at dealing with weird stuff like this, y'know.
[He looks at the paper again, frowning. He's still trying to put this into a context he understands.]
They've already beaten the Queen of Fables once...
At any rate, that seems like an unlikely thing to hope for - this world is allegedly separate from others.
Re: [Video]
But the Justice League's been to other worlds before. I--
[He cuts off before saying he knows because he was there. He thinks he has to protect that secret identity, after all.]
I...see it on TV all the time. They've dealt with parallel realities and that sort of thing before.
Though it sounds like they're real, to you.
Re: [Video]
Well, yeah. Because they are real.
Re: [Video]
[He's at least willing to roll with things from his world not being real...hooray for having run into very weird things before.]

video!
Also he's talking about the justice league. Bonus points.]
Huitzilopochtli. Hui-zee-lo-poach-tli! [Helpfully!] Someone else from my neck of the woods, sort of! Jeje. I guess I should say welcome.
Re: video!
Hweezelopoctee?
[He's...still not very good at this. He shakes his head.]
Whatever. Look, I don't need to be welcomed--I'm getting out of here real soon.
[Yep. Any minute. The League would be here any minute.]
...but where is this place, anyway?
Re: video!
[Miguel tilts his head--it's good to hear someone so enthusiastic!]
You are? Oh man, can you bring me with you? I've been stuck here for two months now, pe. And...I have no idea! [Helpful.] No one does, really. It's called Arcanarum, though!
Re: video!
[He's just going to try to move on because the two months thing unnerves him a bit...]
Arcanarum, huh?
[He seems to be thinking a bit.]
...that's not anywhere I've heard of...
[It's either a bad sign or just one that he wasn't paying as much attention as he should have to what the rest of the Justice League has been up to...he's not sure.]
video!
[He tilts his head to the side, pursing his lips and making a little sympathetic noise.]
That's what I said the first time too! I mean, trust me, I know pretty much every country and Arcanarum is definitely not one of them, pe. As far as I know, we got transported somewhere--but if anyone could find us, I bet the Justice League could!
Re: video!
Well, y'know...
[He clears his throat in an attempt to change the subject because he is so not sure whether or not he should be letting certain matters of secret identity slip here.]
Transportation to some other world makes it a bit more difficult, but I know they've got ways of finding us. Magic, Martian telepaths, more scientific equipment than you can shake a stick at...
Video
Spell it out, perhaps?
Re: Video
And I'll have you know the Justice League is the best of the best. They'll be here. I know they will.
[He pauses and looks at the paper again.]
Yeah, I don't even know if I can do that much...seriously, did you see that name?
Video
...
Indeed. You are most unlucky.
Re: Video
[Because that is about the most positive experience he's had with demons even though that's not saying much.]
Yeah, I'm getting the feeling that it's just the cherry on top of what's turning out to be a really crappy luck sundae.
Are you with the Justice League? Or just a friend of Superman?
With it, actually.

Firestorm, the Nuclear Man, at your service.
Dream Girl, Nura Nal, of the Legion of Super-Heroes, at your service, Firestorm.
So...you're from the future?
