[The video feed cuts on to reveal a very confused-looking young man just barely out of his teens wearing a rather ornate set of heavily-decorated Aztec clothes, including a heavily feathered headdress.]

Okay, whatever's going on...I'm pretty sure I never signed up to replace...

[Ronnie looks at the paper again and frowns because as far as he can tell someone just decided to spill Scrabble tiles everywhere and use that to make up a name. Mxyzptlk wasn't even that bad in comparison...]

Hui...hr...hooo...heetz?...heetzilla?...uh...that.

[He jabs at the name on the paper by way of explanation. "Huitzilopochtli" is a mouthful, and it is clear he will likely fail forever at pronouncing it.]

And if there's anyone else out there, don't worry--I'm pretty sure the Justice League's going to be along to rescue us real soon. Weirdo mass kidnappings like this are bound to get their attention.

[Ronnie looks a little surprised at that. He's heard of the Legion, but...they were from the future. Why was he here in this weird place talking to someone from the future?!]

[He sighs and looks annoyed. Another world means getting out will be that much more difficult.]

I've been trying to become Firestorm off and on since I woke up. Nothing's working.

Unfortunately, they took our powers, but if you're lucky, the denizen they gave you will have some type of power that you can use either defensively or offensively.

Denizen? That's...that's this guy, isn't it?

[And he will point at the name Huitzilopochtli on the paper again. At least he's lucky enough to have been slapped with a sun god, even if he doesn't know that yet.]

I've got no idea what this even is. I don't exactly have much time to read.

But at the sleeping problem, he looks thoughtful.]

[He makes a face.]

[And if she's willing to try sleeping pills that he has remembered the chemical composition of without Professor Stein's help because surely nothing could go wrong with that.]

[ Smirk. ]

And we need a fire extinguisher on-hand with you around.

[ A thoughtful expression, but then, shake of her head. ]

No. It's too dangerous. There is a chance that my powers may slowly return on the Island and if I have sleeping medication inside me -- especially untested twenty-first century medication -- then it's a potential hazard to my health.

Seriously? You read all that? Without just completely zoning out? Seriously?

[This was a thing that he had not thought to be possible in his long and storied history of zoning out during the more mundane aspects of League meetings and things. And oh, now he's looking embarrassed.]

Hey, I know the chemical composition of flame retardant like the back of my hand, at least...

[He frowns.]

It helps my self-esteem knowing that every hero as slip-ups once in a crysteel while.

Apparently we can always Imagineer fire retardant but I wouldn't mind a more corporeal form lying around just in case.

[ She reclines back into her pillows. ]

Pretty smart. When I sleep, the visions are bigger, yes, but they can also be confusing and nightmare-fuel. I've woken up screaming a couple times already.

He used to haze the new guys with that stuff, you know. If my head hadn't been on fire before, it would have been after a couple of mouthfuls.

[He seems pleased at being called smart, because that doesn't happen a whole lot with him. He does, however, wince at the mention of nightmare fuel.]

That bad? I guess you try to stop the stuff you see when it gets like thet from happening, huh?

He isn't exactly known as the greatest League member. Actually, he's kind of an ...well, he's an ass.
