Considering he's been stuck on this island for a week now, still fails to understand the time difference between the present nations and for some odd reason is wearing this when appreaing on the screen... His mood is not one bit better than before. In fact, he looks ready to strangle someone. Just that that's difficult with plush hooves covering his hands. Tough luck.]

Halloween?

[Note the remotely dangerous intonation.]

What... Is the meaning of this? Who was that woman and where is she now? Also, who is responsible for this ridiculous costume and how do I take it OFF!?! [And he's only getting louder.] I didn't give permission to this infamy so I demand that my person gets freed from this-...this...THIS!

[His voice becomes more of a growl.] Unless whoever did this wants me to hunt them down personally. [And this is where a plush-hoof comes into view, shaking angrily. Yes, this would have been a fist. Only that a fist would be far more intimidating.] But once I get my hands on you, I sewar I will-- [But... Germany cuts himself off, glancing down at his hoof hand. His right eyebrow twitches. Luckily, his face is pretty red already due to simply being angry, so the rising embarrassment isn't too obvious. Oh, the humiliation.]

[He ends up quickly pulling his hand down again and clears his throat, continuing in a somewhat calmer, yet still upset voice.] What I meant to say is... I'm not going to tolerate this! Regardless who is responsible for it. I will find them. And they shall be rightfully punished! Unless they want to surrender willingly. If that is the case, this is your chance!

[The next thing Germany sees on the compact screen is a skeletal face wearing all red. But the voice from behind it is easily recognizable, not just from the accent.]

This is all due to the Rulers again, Allemagne.

[As he speaks, the jaw of the skeleton mask moves with the words, adding a morbid touch. France reaches up and tugs at his own skeleton mask as hard as he can, in front of the screen, to no avail. Instead, he manages to shift the top of the mask up, so that Germany can see his face. Still, he can't remove it, not even the large-brimmed hat, though it does seem he can shift it to accommodate the mask.]

I am afraid this is how it always is, with the Rulers. Always playing some little trick, always using us for their amusement. You heard that woman's voice yourself, non?

[He will deny this later, but Germany does flinch a little at the skull appearing on his screen. But as soon as he hears the oh-too-familiar voice... He goes right back to scowling.]

W-what are you wearing, Frankreich?! [Which also translates into: 'Don't you dare scaring me like this ever again!' But that translation, too, will be denied.]

But, ja. I heard the voice. Who was that and what was she talking about?

[Francis scowls down at his clothes for a moment.] The Rulers... they thought it would be funny to dress me in another costume my denizen wore. I am the "Red Death".

That is one of the group who is allied with the Rulers. That was Justice... Judgement, also, is one of them. And then there are the Empress and, supposedly, the Emperor. They all seem to follow cards of the Tarot... hence why she talked about the Moon.

[ Totally hiding behind voice here, since.. well, yup, the costumes sure are embarassing. And Natsuno isn't stupid enough to show himself off like that. He sounds vaguely annoyed too, but it's not as loud or obvious as with Germany. ]

Of course, no way I'm going to join in on the yelling. But why don't you seek them out instead then?

While Germany is already aware that he is lacking his powers as a nation, he is still not letting a mere little human call him weak. He's still a trained soldier and each of his men killed an average of about four enemy soldiers before falling themselves.

Nope. There's just no way Germany will accept such a blatant claim.]

Well, shucks, look what the cat dragged in! Well, rulers or whatever them crazy folks are called! Germany! Hey there, partner, aren't you a sight for sore eyes! Though, I gotta say, your costume's definitely makin' my eyes sore, ha ha ha! Looks like yer part o' this here party too, I reckon? Though, I had no idea sheep wear capes out thar in Europe! Looks mighty cozy as a costume though!

[No, he hasn't expected this from happening. The nation jumps, literally, when he is suddenly hugged and that instantly bright red face of him may be hard to ignore.]

[He doesn't quite get the question, considering that he's pretty busy panicking and trying to get a distance between them again.]
