[Some of you may remember Germany. Yes, that's that unfriendly, disbelieving nation that was on the network a mere week ago, displaying a sour mood and willingness to yell at everyone and their pet rabbit. Considering he's been stuck on this island for a week now, still fails to understand the time difference between the present nations and for some odd reason is wearing this when appreaing on the screen... His mood is not one bit better than before. In fact, he looks ready to strangle someone. Just that that's difficult with plush hooves covering his hands. Tough luck.]

Halloween?

[Note the remotely dangerous intonation.]

What... Is the meaning of this? Who was that woman and where is she now? Also, who is responsible for this ridiculous costume and how do I take it OFF!?! [And he's only getting louder.] I didn't give permission to this infamy so I demand that my person gets freed from this-...this...THIS!

[His voice becomes more of a growl.] Unless whoever did this wants me to hunt them down personally. [And this is where a plush-hoof comes into view, shaking angrily. Yes, this would have been a fist. Only that a fist would be far more intimidating.] But once I get my hands on you, I sewar I will-- [But... Germany cuts himself off, glancing down at his hoof hand. His right eyebrow twitches. Luckily, his face is pretty red already due to simply being angry, so the rising embarrassment isn't too obvious. Oh, the humiliation.]

[He ends up quickly pulling his hand down again and clears his throat, continuing in a somewhat calmer, yet still upset voice.] What I meant to say is... I'm not going to tolerate this! Regardless who is responsible for it. I will find them. And they shall be rightfully punished! Unless they want to surrender willingly. If that is the case, this is your chance!

I'm very sure of it.

[Hajime is at this point pretty sure the other is just a normal human, so he feels confident in making this assumption. Being an Undead destined to end all life on your world and being used to having the power that would require tends to do that to a guy.]

And I can prove it anytime.

[Germany nods in response. A being with such powers may actually be able to cause a nation a certain degree of harm due to their connection to their citizens, but unless they get officially dissolved, nations tend to be pretty much immortal. And Hajime truly doesn't strike Germany as someone too involved with political matters, hence why he harbors few worries concerning this one.]

Very well. Tell me the place and we may see about this right away.

[chalicejoker]

[Politics is one of those things that utterly disinterests Hajime, so Germany is perfectly safe on that front. And he seriously doubts Germany would have the necessary Rouse Cards that could seal him away for a few more millenia, so he's not really worried, either.]

The training grounds. I'll be waiting.

[Everything even remotely to do with magic clearly isn't located within Germany's area of comprehension, so, that assumption is correct. May they both remain unworried.]

Hn.

[Germany simply nods before turning off the device.

It takes the nation about twenty minutes to reach the training grounds, willing himself to ignore the fluffy costume he is stuck in.At least he's a tall sheep.]

[Action]

[True to his word, Hajime's there waiting for Germany. He looks much the same as he did over the communicator, though now it becomes evident that there's a short, furry tail poking out from the seat of his pants--a physical reminder of his denizen, the Beast.

At least he's not laughing outright at seeing Germany's costume like that in person...but it does look like he's kind of smirking at the other's appearance. If it makes Germany feel any better, at least Hajime is a bit on the short side.]

And here I was thinking you wouldn't show up.

[Oh, he can deal with that. His brother is no different. Also... It's just a tad bit more embarrassing than having to dress up as an American while at the same time acting like one.

The nation simply keeps his glare on the other male, one hoof-covered hand on his hip.]

If you actually took the distance between my previous location and this one and seriously compared it to the time it took me to arrive, you would have noticed that my walking speed was more than acceptable. I could give you a detailed calculation, but that isn't what I came for.

[chalicejoker]

If you wanted to show your strength through mathematics, that would be pretty pathetic.

[Hajime crosses his arms.]

So what did you come for, then? They've got weapons here...or we could test our strength the old-fashioned way.

You shouldn't underestimate the strategic value of mathematic calculations. Being able to estimate the time an enemy requires to reach your borders is important in regards of preparing a defense.

Though, no. Weapons aren't necessary. You claimed your own strength, not that of a weapon you wield.

When I fight, I'm not concerned with borders. Only the battle itself.

[The whole "no weapons" thing just makes Hajime smile for a brief moment.]

Excellent.

[He takes a couple of steps back and assumes a low combat crouch, then makes a sort of "bring it on" gesture.]

Shall we begin, then?

Then you probably haven't fought in a war yet.

[But he gives a dismissive shrug. This isn't about exchanging war tactics and strategies after all. So in the end, Germany simply nods.

The costume the nation is stuck in may seem bulky and unhandy, but he found that he can still move quite well in it while it conveniently hides his very movements until they become apparent.]

Here I come.

[It's a flat announcement before the German darts forward, his goal being simple: Tackle his opponent to the ground for a quick advantage.]

[Hajime actually laughs at that.]

I exist for battle.

[Armies and borders and territory? Not really his thing. He doesn't play well with others.

Hajime's going to try to counter that charge by keeping himself low and making a shoulder thrust in an attempt to force the other to the ground, sort of like if he was playing American football. He's got no idea how well that's going to work with the bulky costume, though.]

[But those are clearly nation-things.

And there goes this nation rushing right into the younger male's shoulder, yet without loosing his footing. The initial pain makes Germany wince and he is once again reminded of his currently merely human body.

But he doesn't go down, instead he tries to wrap his arms around Hajime's upper body and use his own weight to pull both of them down.]

[Hajime tries to stand his ground, but Germany's not the only one suffering from being a mere human. Even though he's trying, a bigger guy in a giant fluffy sheep suit is too much for him to try to hold back forever. Down he goes, though he's struggling all the way and will try to lash out with a knee or a foot, hoping to connect with something.]

[kartoffelstampfer]

[Germany isn't quite sure how or what exactly just happens. But the moment Hajime goes down, something hits the nation straight into his jaw and instead of letting go of the other, he crashes down right with and on top of him with a painfully obvious lack of elegance. For a moment, maybe two, Germany finds himself in a slight daze and unable to get right back onto his own feet.]

[Hajime grunts a little as the other falls on him. The bigger man was heavy, and the weight of that sheep suit didn't help matters much. At least Germany seems to be stunned, and so Hajime will try to use this to his advantage. He's mostly concerned with getting out from under the other man and trying to get back on his feet.]

[It's a bit of a reflex that makes Germany react to the struggling person beneath him by rolling to the side and making room for the other before he gets himself out of his temporary daze and comes back to the current situation. The nation brings a hand up to his jaw, remotely confused by the amount of pain. Well. That has been... Odd.]

[As soon as Hajime's free, he's scrambling to his feet again. He's hurting in a couple of places, but he's pushing that aside. Combat is pretty much what he was born for, and to let this get to him? Not going to happen.

The situation's a little weird, though. Should he kick the sheep when the sheep was down? The other seemed dazed enough that this was the point where under normal circumstances, Hajime would be trying for some big, flashy finisher. That's not really possible here, so he's just going to try to jump on the other man and try for a bit of punching to win the fight without question. All that fluff is making it hard to pick out a target, though...]

[The first punch that connects forcefully drags Germany out of his daze and back into reality. The second punch makes him realize, that he hasn't reacted quickly enough, but he's going to change that. At least his silly costume weakens the blows a little. Not much, however. This human hit with unexpected strength.

But the nation could counter with just as much force. Before a third punch can connect, Germany jerks his upper body up and swings a plush-covered fist at the man above him.]

[chalicejoker]

[The fist connects with Hajime's helmet...which would have been a good thing, except the plush-blunted impact has spun the helmet so that his visibility is pretty much nil at this point. The impact's knocked him back, and he needs a moment to reposition the unremovable helmet.]

[Hajime's situation remains no secret to Germany, who doesn't hesitate but makes sure to sit up fully, pull his leg up and launch a swift kick at the young man's chest

Also Germany makes sure to keep that hrlmrz in mind.]

[The kick connects right as Hajime has managed to get the helmet righted again, knocking him back. The costume armor is nowhere near like the real thing, but at least it's better than nothing.

There's a soft bit of swearing in a language that doesn't sound human at all as he goes back down. He's focused on trying to get back on his feet now.]

[Germany uses the chance to get back on his own hooves feet and quickly looks over to his currently downed opponent. Though he doesn't attack.]

Los. Get back up!

[So far the display Hajime has delivered wasn't a bad one. And Germany is willing to acknowledge that strength.]

It'll be okay XD

[Hajime's back on his feet now, still in a combat position like he expects an attack at any moment. The visible part of his face looks somewhat satisfied, at least. It's been a while since he's had a decent fight.]

So, another round, then?

[kartoffelstampfer]

[Germany nods.]

Sure.

[And he shifts into a more defensive posture. He might actually enjoy this. With his brother unavailable for their usual little matches, this seems like a decent way to let go of some steam.]

Show me what you got.

[Hajime returns that nod, tenses, and then leaps up in the air for a flying kick. Good thing it's nowhere near as likely to make things explode as this might under more normal circumstances for him.]
