theoperaghost[It is just before midnight when the feed crackles to life, at first the only sound being the silence of night. The video itself is quite dark, with only a few stars in the sky. There are also the embers of a glowing fire visible. Next to fire is a man, or at least what one assumes to be a man, because the fire is glowing off a white mask and not much more. Suddenly, a deep voice speaks, one which is commanding and rather cold.]
To whomever has so graciously brought me to this island: if you are a servant of the Shah-in-Shah, and have brought me here to kill me, you have made a grave mistake in allowing me the leisure of time. [The voice quietly turns toward the compact, a rope in his hands that is fashioned in the shape of a noose.] Not only were you foolish enough to arm me with a sword at the start, but you also seem to forget that I am known for my ability to kill.
[He begins coiling the rope around his arms, to make it easier to carry.] It would simply be best for everyone if you refused your loyalty to the Shah-in-Shah and sent me on the next boat to Europe. I will spare your life if this is done.
And if it is not a servant of the Shah-in-Shah, you should also heed my warning. I am an excellent tracker, and I have scoured every inch of this island in the past few days - I will find you. [He finishes coiling the rope, and stands, prodding at the fire a little to keep it going.] The imbeciles who run my opera house will have it in ruins if I do not hurry back to Paris. Do make yourselves known, won't you?
Be quick about it, or the Opera Ghost shall have to come to you, and that would be most unpleasant.
[He suddenly moves to the compact, his cloak billowing out behind him before there is no more.]
