[While G was completely oblivious to the amount of time he had been gone, he was very aware of the heavy grog that seemed to cloud his brain. Damn he felt like crap. While he was lacking the typical pounding headache that usually came with waking up in a bed with no idea how he got there, he thought better than to take any chances.

And as much as he hated the little mirror talkie... whatever-the-fuck-it-was thing... it was a necessary evil right now. He fumbles with it for a moment before the read head comes on the screen... clearly having made no effort to hide the fact that he just woke up mere moments ago. His hair is a tussled mess, and there's a light layer of stubble on his jar.]

stupid little piece of shit... how the hell do i- oh...

[He clears his throat and with a level of grace and sophistication that only the mafioso could reach addresses the public, his words heavily laced with grog.]

Alright, whatever the hell I did last night and whoever I did last night, I did not mean anything I said it was just a bunch of rubbish and lies and you should ignore it. And if someone would be kind enough to tell me what the hell happened last night it would be appreciated.

[And he just tossed the thing off to the side while he got out of bed to try and get ready for the day, forgetting to turn it off as usual.]

Well, I think we're going to be stuck here for a little more than a week... call it a hunch.

That is obvious since we have not gotten home. However, wouldn't it be best to make the best of it?

[He moves his head up from the table to look at Ugetsu.]

And how do you propose I do that? Giotto's not here. Got no orders. You're fine. The kid's fine. Nothing's attackin' us, and even if they were I don't have my bow and this guns are about useless.

Well, I believe that we have other means of being able to hold our own. [ a calm smile ] I would not be too concerned about it G-san.

Tch, yeah, you got kitchen knives. I can throw a good punch, and got a couple of pea-shooters that could be in a museum.

[He huffs and slouched back in his chair irritably, eyeing the sword he had on his hip.]

And this rinky-dink thing.

[He removes it from his belt and tosses it on the table, letting it slide towards Ugetsu. He knew it wasn't the type of sword he was used to, but he figured it was sharp and pointy and Ugetsu could get the job done with it.]

Y'want it? Probably do more with it than I can.

[ugetsu]

[ Ugetsu picks up the sword and frowns. It's not something he's used to, that's for sure. He's more used to...well, japanese swords. The weight of this one is rather light, though, so that would help. ]

If something happens, and I hope it does not, I will be able to use this.

Figured you would. Better than me anyway.

[If anything he was more of a danger to himself with a sword rather than an opponent... considering he wielded swords much in the same way a small child wields a stick.]
