thefoolish[ As the clock draws closer to midnight on this new year, residents of the island will discover that the silver district is alight with festivities. There are lights everywhere, colored and bright and numerous, and all sorts of vendors out and about everywhere. They give good tidings, offer their goods and services with an enthusiasm only they can match, and there's the delicious smell of food and drink all throughout the air.
The moment that the clock strikes twelve, everything comes to a head. Fireworks shoot off in all directions, primarily from the port and the boats that are docked there. The day itself, will no doubt, be a blur of activity-- whether you are part of the action or working off a hangover from all of the good drink being offered at the pub!
