 [Being taken to a new place during Belgium's sleep was not was she had in mind. Waking up in a completely different bedroom than the one she slept in was not her idea of a vacation. At least the room did show how her home was set up with decorations and a lovely pink rose colored room. It took her a while to finally wake up enough to be aware of different little things around her; like say that note and the mirror and key listed in the note.]

Wait.... Replace Little Red Riding Hood? What's going on? What is this place?

[Obviously she noticed the name of this place, but that didn't help tell her how she got here and what was going on. She was familiar with Little Red Riding Hood, but she didn't understand what they meant with her "replacing" her. Realizing this, she realized her clothing had changed as well. She couldn't help but to cringe.]

.....A dress.... Yeah... no. Is there anything else for me to wear here?

[After looking for a few minutes, she found nothing else. Giving a deep sigh, she ignored it for now. She had to let it go if she was going to figure out more. Grabbing the mirror and key, she looked around the house. She noticed the living room next to her room as she messed with the mirror.]

Is anybody there? I need answers now.

[When the compact turns on it's safe to assume that it fell out of her pocket. What is shown is her back as she sweeps up the apartment common room. The whole place is empty even though it was once full of people.

Anyone who knows Sophie well will have noticed that she's been much quieter then she usually is. There hasn't been a lot of nagging or bossing or even just talking. She's fallen into her old rut of simply staying out of the way of everything. Even at the clothing shop she's turned more toward sensible and dowdy clothing. Her looks may have made her even more lovely then she once was, but her clothing is doing a very good job of counteracting that and making her look very plain.]

I should go to the market and get more tea. It's still getting colder. I'll have to look at the meat too.

[She turns to write down what she'd just said onto a list when she sees the compact. She doesn't seem very worried about it being on as she closes it.]

--That explains the damn Guy Fawkes mask. What an utterly stupid prank-- [a sharp-tongued complaint can be heard before a pair of sharp, green eyes flashes through from this Englishman's end of the compact.

England is scowling unashamedly into the little device and despite looking barely in his mid-twenties, his entire bearing is reminiscent of--

Now see here, I demand an explanation for this nonsense--

None of that tripe from the little introduction, thank you. [he gives a stout nod, and a smile, as if he'll be completely understood and assisted to his liking.] Spare the bits about magic as well! I think I'm well-learned in that area as is; don't really need my hand held, so to speak.

--Oh, and I expect you to be prompt and to the point! Suppose I ought to say it's--a pleasure to meet my ah... fellows here on this... whatever this place is. [with a casual, dismissive wave of his hand, he snaps the compact shut.]

[Now it's time for him to find his bearings--to explore a bit, speak with whoever else was here. All in all he isn't very unsettled. After all, he has no reason to be! People replacing figures from stories? Magic? Being whisked away to a plane in the spirit world?

Hah.

--Now, if only he could find clothes that weren't dramatically black--and some tea, of course--and after gathering more information, no doubt he'll eventually have this sorted in short order.]

[Waver frowns into the camera. This isn't the first time he's admitted ignorance in public, but doing so on a broadcast feed is a bit new. Still, better to swallow pride and serve the greater good than wallow in ignorance for the sake of ego]

A question occurs to me, prompted by someone else. I realize there's a bit of a communication overload with all the new people, but I'm hoping someone might have the answer.

Does anyone happen to know the actual motive of the Powers that Be and their reasons for dragging everyone here or if they've even dropped any hints? I can certainly buy randomness, but if there is a more specific reason, I think that'd be worth knowing.
