[One day into a new place, completely thrown out of time in a way that feels so far away from his own understanding of magecraft and now having the threat of complete and utter memory loss? No problem. There are plenty of logical solutions to this, and he's going to start implementing one now.
Well, so long as crowd sourcing is viable. He flicks on the video feed]
It's come to my attention that there's no library or archive on this island. While information control makes sense, given the powers that be and their plans, I would like to suggest that there are ways that we can come to understand the magic they're using as well as predict future movements.
What I am proposing is collecting first person testimonials from everyone here that note all of the major - and minor - events that have happened on this island. That means dates of new arrivals, odd goings on, changes in individual personalities and the like. By collecting this information, it can be pooled together and we can create a coherent narrative.
This is not something that I can do on my own - the least of all reasons being that this is only my second day here. The more people that contribute, the better, for everyone's sake. Ideally, I need written copies of everyone's history from the moment of their arrival until now and it needs to be as detailed as plausible.
I'm willing to conduct interview and write transcripts if need be, but if you can take it upon yourself to sit and write something down, I would be grateful. Upon completion, you can drop the relevant papers off at the ninth housing unit in the Navy district. If you're compelled to use envelopes, address it to Waver Velvet. Feel free to contact me with further questions.
Ah, incidentally, if anyone might be willing to tell me where I could haggle for a yellow scarf, I'd appreciate it.
