 [When Miguel first opens the communicator and turns on the video feed, his expression is not one of anguish or wonder--he looks marveled. He's dressed in a red tunic, with earrings hanging from his ears and a large, golden crown on his head; despite the weight, he's sitting up perfectly straight, as if it's a familiar feeling. 

Miguel looks to the left. And then to the right. And then he leans down and whispers, in his most conspiratorial voice ever.]

 

Hello? Anyone there? Listen, if you are, don't freak out, but I think I traveled back in time.

[ After that eventful Halloween, Minato wakes up miraculously unscathed in his bedroom. While he is on some level happy to no longer be wearing a maid outfit, mostly he is a little disturbed to be waking up at all. He vividly remembers the teeth and claws and pink dress of the werewolf, and thinking about how dying violently like that felt makes him shudder, and he thinks he would be sick, except there's nothing in his stomach to empty. Needless to say, after a very thorough shower (it still feels like there's blood all over, even if he knows there isn't), he skips breakfast, though he makes sure Teddie and Nanako have something to eat before he heads out.

Although mostly he just wants to walk and listen to music and clear his mind and maybe find someplace quiet to draw for a bit, he brings his swords with him, intending to burn some energy and clear his head with some practice later in the day. However, first he does his best to assuage his own worry about his friends and check in on them.

But that's when he learns of a few disappearances... ]

[ Having gone around to check in on people and having found a few who were no longer present, Minato braces himself to make an announcement. He's not really sure why he feels the need to tell people when he discovers others have disappeared. It's some weird mix of hopeful - that it is possible to leave this island - and depressing - that people he's gotten to know just disappear on him again -- and either way, he doesn't really like doing it, even as he feels compelled to. So after taking a little while to think about what he wants to say, Minato opens his mirror and speaks. ]

... I hope everyone who is still here came through Halloween all right. If anyone is injured still and needs healing, please let me know - I can help with that.

Also... Junpei Iori and Rarity seem to have gone home recently.

[ There's a pause, as he considers if there's anything else to say. But there isn't, and so after a nod, he cuts the feed. ]

[The video is at first partly obscured by a cloud of grey smoke, and when it clears, the owner of the voice is shown to be a rather annoyed-looking redhead holding a cigarette in one hand, reclining in a chair and looking at the compact as if it has somehow offended him. He's wearing a suit and tie, rather like this one, and a brown overcoat]

Ah wake up lookin' loch Ah jist left a meetin' wi' thes.. mirror thin' in mah hain. Looks loch it cam it ay a lass's purse, but th' note says it's fur communication an' it looks tae me loch it's workin'.

[The note had said some other things too, but he's not.. dealing with those right now. He frowns, and takes a drag on his cigarette]

... Ah'm expectin' some answers.

The owner of the compact doesn't really notice nor does she care about the damn thing. All she knows that she's angry. Very angry at what the Rulers did this time. But it was odd to feel such a thing for her...then again this island does stupid and bad shit.]

Punish us for your mistakes? They call themselves 'Justice' and 'Judgement' but they're fakes. Own up to what you do and don't hide behind your power.

[The feet turn to face the communicator and then...kicks it away. Whoops, Sora broke her compact! And nope, does not give a shit about it not filtered. To her, Rulers can go suck something. Totally Esmeralda there. ]
