[G comes on the screen looking rather sweaty, by the looks of it he's outside, and judging by the quiver on his back he's somewhere that would involve shooting arrows. Though to those who have seen him before may notice he is lacking the very prominent tattoo on his face and his hair seems to be taking a lighter tone.]

Hello to all the new arrivals and those who don't know me, I'm G, and I'm plannin' on formin' a little... "expedition" into the forest. I'm lookin' for anyone with any sort of combat experience to come along. Any information about the forest would be welcomed as well. Thanks.

Are you well adept at combat, and equipped with a weapon?

[those eyebrows draw attention to a very faint symbol in the center of his forehead]

I don't have a weapon on me, but I am certain I can find one. As for combat experience, I would call leading soldiers of war into battle for centuries being well adept.

[He smirks]

[hm... he wonders what it is. he takes a quick check in a mirror nearby. it looks more like an old scar, if anything. but it's in the shape of a star... maybe he got it during battle. well, never mind that, back to the communicator]

In any case, when were you planning on leaving?

Tomorrow evening if possible. But I want to set up a secure meeting place beforehand if possible. Some things I would rather not say over this... thing.

[ If she can't do anything else, than at least that... ]

Alright. Sure Madoka. What sort of food do you know how to make?

Hmh, I can do quite a lot of things.

You know any Italian dishes? Been a while since I had a good meal from home.

[He's more or less just been eating whatever food he can find laying around...]

I can try! Don't expect anything really special though. I just know some basic pasta recipes and all...

I'm sure it'll be great. Probably better then what I can make.

[ Madoka is kind of happy to be able to cook for someone. In this weird place, without her boys, it gives her a feeling of safety to care for someone ]

Are you sure that's wise?
I heard that in response to a previous expedition into the forest, the rulers of this place turned everyone into wooden puppets...

_{[Of course, that doesn't necessarily mean Minato is wholly against exploring to learn more, but he wonders how much G knows and if he's aware of the risks. Because depending on G's answers, Minato may or may not decide to see about joining.

It should be noted that Minato still looks pretty human, though his skin is getting scaly, his teeth are getting pointed and his hands and feet are starting to gain talons.]}

I was lookin' for information on that actually. I remember hearin' that it was an attempted 'attack'. I figure as long as we don't come as a threat, we may get farther, and come out mostly unscathed.

[Granted this isn't entirely true, the main goal to get information is so that a future battle plan can be implemented. But if whoever was controlling this knew that his attempts would be of hostile intent, this whole thing could turn out much messier then it needed to be. And considering who granted him such a device, he trusted that it would be monitored ]

Not much, unfortunately. Just that two people apparently tried to get to the castle in the middle, and apparently everyone was turned into wooden puppets afterwards. Not just the two who went in, mind you: everyone.

[He brings a hand to his face and thinks for a moment. That surely complicated things.]

Hmm... it's a tough situation, but I'm still going to carry out the expedition. Should we encounter something sentient and hostile, I will do my best to take the blame myself to avoid a repeat of the last consequence.

Perhaps steer clear of the castle, then? ... I am curious about the forest, though. When are you planning on going?

He wouldn't tell me anything specific. I guess he felt kind of traumatized. And he's an alien, so if it was enough to freak him out, it must have been pretty weird!
