This seems pretty hypocritical. Killing them only to abduct us so we can replace them. It hardly seems as if that they thought anything through at all.

Yes. They keep switching us and our denizens, too, it doesn't seem like there is even much of a structure... Which makes it even worse to figure out.

Possibly. I'm just not sure what exactly will satisfy them.
