Mark I - [action + video]
(please refer to his third-person sample for what's happened immediately before this.)
[he woke up a second time. It was unexpected, but extremely welcome. He expected to feel little pieces of metal stabbing away at his heart since his arc reactor was missing. But strangely, he didn't feel any different than normal. Just groggy.
Deciding to take advantage of this reprieve from death's embrace, Tony flipped open the little communication's device and activated the video function. As an after thought he grabbed the little card]
So, this is a new one, kidnapped by insane cosplay enthusiasts? Your jokes can use some work, though. Really, the Tin Man? Is that the best you could come up with? What do ya want, anyways? Money? Weapons? My armor? I'll tell you where to shove it, but you won't listen until I have a better microphone.
And who is this... [he mouths Yaldabaoth, trying to figure out the pronunciation, gives up and continues] Who is this Yogi Bear character with a name that looks like it belongs to something Lovecraft invented? I'm not living with a tentacle monster, am I? [he looks really unsure about that]
Is there anyone who happens to know where I can get 1.5 grams of palladium and a few other odds and ends? [even though it was a bad design, he would be more comfortable with his Mark I reactor in his chest than a great gaping hole]

voice;
permavideo
Palladium is an element, atomic number 46. It's in the same group as Platinum and Nickle.
[he pauses, now that he's given so much info... lets' change it up]
Are you also a captive of the Association of Crazy LARPers?
no subject
Although I don't get what you mean by that last part either..

I'm afraid it's no use yelling at them, the Rulers don't want anything but you personally. We've all been kidnapped and brought here.
[Oh look, there's a pert frown that Tony might be quite familiar with. It's the patient look that Pepper usually gives him, only it's from Sophie instead.]
Have you read the letter they left you?
permavideo
He focused, and managed to bring out his poker face]
Yeah, that's how I know I'm rooming with Cthulu's cousin.
Re: permavideo
Really, the more Sophie moves and reacts the more she'll probably remind him of his indispensable assistant. Maybe it comes from them both dealing with impossible men with great amounts of power.]
I haven't the faintest idea what you're talking about, but if you tell me where you are I can give you a tour and a bit better of an explanation.
[They really needed to get some sort of 'welcome' letter written about this place.]

All of us have been taken from wherever we were before and brought here by the rulers of this place to fulfill the roles of assorted story characters.
[ He shifts his wings a little as he pauses. ]
Whatever you were used to before, this world runs a lot by magic. Including the houses. Inside, you can imagine up whatever you like, and it will appear exactly as you imagine it. However, some things will then immediately explodesuch as electronics... [ He speaks with experience there. ... but of course, his statement might seem a little odd, since he has an mp3 player and headphones dangling around his neck. Those are special, though. ]
... welcome to Arcanarum.

If I imagine something it becomes real?
[he decides to give this a try by imagining up his Arc Reactor, remembering all the parts and all the little pieces of technology that goes into it]
[video] 3/3
He starts coughing from the smoke and dust.]
[video] apologies for the lateness. v_v;; i meant to call hiatus and then... didn't.
Ligaments, muscles and magic. [ He's accidentally whacked them on too many doorways and other hard surfaces to suspect they're anything but flesh and blood. Mechanical things generally don't bruise...
But then Tony's calling something up, and Minato starts to repeat his warning on explosions -- but nope. Too late. He winces a little in empathy, having had his own face singed a few months back. ]
Ah... I did say certain things exploded... Are you all right?
[video] -lateness is certainly not a problem
[video] /headinhands and then I took even longer to reply this time; I'm sorry

Okay... I know a bit about rare and hard to find spell components, but I've never heard of that one! What properties does it have?
Spell components? This ain't magic, sugar, this is science!
[so going through culture shock]
[Blinks and tilts her head.] What are you staring at?

You're a strange one.

Palladium, it's the element that powers my Mark I and II arc reactors. Rather have my Mark III, but it exploded.

I doubt you'll find any here. This place looks like it doesn't have much of anything useful on it, except the stuff in the houses, but all these look pretty outdated too.
[Considering the appliances are fairly modern technology...]

Well, that's useful. [sarcasm]

You have been taken by 'The Rulers'. No body here appears to know who they are or anything other than the fact that they are dangerous and we cannot contact them. Our things have been taken from us. And no, you are not a monster.
[well it was nice to not be called a monster for once] It's not me that I'm worried about. I'm apparently living with someone named... [he glances at the card again] Yoda bath?
