So, this is a new one, kidnapped by insane cosplay enthusiasts? Your jokes can use some work, though. Really, the Tin Man? Is that the best you could come up with? What do ya want, anyways? Money? Weapons? My armor? I'll tell you where to shove it, but you won't listen until I have a better microphone.

And who is this... [he mouths Yaldabaoth, trying to figure out the pronunciation, gives up and continues] Who is this Yogi Bear character with a name that looks like it belongs to something Lovecraft invented? I'm not living with a tentacle monster, am I? [he looks really unsure about that]

Is there anyone who happens to know where I can get 1.5 grams of palladium and a few other odds and ends? [even though it was a bad design, he would be more comfortable with his Mark I reactor in his chest than a great gaping hole]

I find it difficult to believe that this place is responsible for the fact that I'm not suffering cardiac arrest.

And I find it hard to believe that the Rulers got past my husband's security and snatched me from home, and yet, here I am.

[it's that thought that makes him worry, what happened to JARVIS? His suits? He hadn't spared much worry for them yet, but now...

What is known about this place?

Do you want the basics or the entire encyclopedia britannica version?

Lets go for the basics first and expand out from there.

Basically, this is an island where fairytales and supernatural myths of the like are real. I'm not sure if this is a correct assumption, but the people on the island play out their stories, which pleases the Rulers, the people who run this abysmal speck in the waters.

Something happened, and the people are gone, so we're being pulled here, against our will, to replace them. The Rulers have no intention to let us leave, and believe me, we've tried.

They pretty much try to make us the character. Clothing, voice, appearance...and in exchange for all those forced goodies, they take our metahuman abilities. If you're lucky, your character is a powerful wizard of some sort. That means that, eventually, you will have their magic. If not, then you're just a badass normal.

Other than changing our clothes on arrival, how are they managing the change?

Magic? I don't really know. All I know is what I've already told you, and that if I am stuck here forever, I may be the first to try and brain the Rulers with a mallet.

[he wrinkles his nose at the idea of magic. It's distasteful to his scientific mind]

Magic? Are you sure it's not advanced nano-machines?

I'm not sure of anything, except that we're all stuck here until we beat the Rulers somehow.

Already answered that. We have tried, but they rounded us up and dragged us back to shore.

I should have phrased that differently. So, a boat doesn't work. Hmm... what about going where the Rulers are?

Not yet. They keep their guards stationed around the main entrances. And should you attempt to confront the guards, there may as well be a large shadow army ready to cut your throat.
