007 ⚜ Video ⚜ An apology

[Francis comes on the communicators, a healthy glow on his cheeks that had been missing for the past few weeks - And despite all the scrapes and bags under his eyes from their ordeal, he looks more like he's supposed to. The only thing that looks completely unnatural is the frown Francis has on his face.]

Mesdames et messieurs... I feel I must apologize. I had no idea my plan would fail, and that all of us would be placed through... such horrid things.

[He pauses, looking guilty as he sort of shifts around.]

I apologize. For everything. For the boat, for our capture, for all the suffering you endured... désolé.

[Francis slowly reaches over to his nightstand, and takes what looks like a photograph into his hands. He stares down at it for a moment, before he sighs and looks back up.]

Anyone who has had their clothes torn or ruined because of this - I will fix them. If I cannot fix them, I will replace them myself. That is all.

[And he cuts off the feed.]

[He gives a little sigh.] It is his choice, Espagne.

[paysdelamour]

And Prussie knows what he is getting into, even if I think it is foolish too. [For remarkably different reasons than Spain, likely, but the fact of the matter still stands.]

[ Sighs and just leans on France ]

I still say seeing England naked broke him.

[paysdelamour]

[A snort of laugher.] Given how prudish our neighbors have always been? I do not doubt it, Antonio.

[tomate]

It's not a pretty sight.

[paysdelamour]

Non. [He takes his wine glass and sips, holding it there as he continues.] With Suisse isolating himself in the mountains, and Autriche still wearing those stuffy clothes, and Allemagne turning beet red at the hint of affection, it is no wonder seeing just one naked man has destroyed our dear friend.

Central Europe is just so... touchy about the subject, non? [A small chuckle.] No pun intended, of course.

They need someone to touch them.

Does this mean you volunteer?

[tomate]

[paysdelamour]

[A laugh.] Then I suppose we are at an impasse! Perhaps they are simply doomed to stuffy mannerisms forever.

[tomate]

I suppose so!

[paysdelamour]

Mais, enough about them and how boring they are. We should be talking about something happier, non? Or perhaps recent, at least. [Another little smile at the Spaniard.] How have you been?

[tomate]

Oh, I have been good!

[paysdelamour]

You were not hurt after we built the boat, were you? [He gently rubs his thumb against Spain's cheek, as if to prove to himself that Spain really has been "good".]

[tomate]

I did get into some fights but... [ nothing that he hasn't felt before ]

Ah la la, Espagne... you are not hurt, are you?

[He gently combs through Spain's hair with his fingers, in a sympathetic gesture.]

[tomate]

No no, I'm fine.

[paysdelamour]

Magnifique. I am happy you were not hurt!

[tomate]

How about you? Were you hurt?

[paysdelamour]

Mm, a few scrapes here and there... a bruise or two, perhaps. Nothing serious.

[tomate]

Hmm, that's good!
