007 ⚜ Video ⚜ An apology

[Francis comes on the communicators, a healthy glow on his cheeks that had been missing for the past few weeks - And despite all the scrapes and bags under his eyes from their ordeal, he looks more like he's supposed to. The only thing that looks completely unnatural is the frown Francis has on his face.]

Mesdames et messieurs... I feel I must apologize. I had no idea my plan would fail, and that all of us would be placed through... such horrid things.

[He pauses, looking guilty as he sort of shifts around.]

I apologize. For everything. For the boat, for our capture, for all the suffering you endured... désolé.

[Francis slowly reaches over to his nightstand, and takes what looks like a photograph into his hands. He stares down at it for a moment, before he sighs and looks back up.]

Anyone who has had their clothes torn or ruined because of this - I will fix them. If I cannot fix them, I will replace them myself. That is all.

[And he cuts off the feed.]

Oho... so you're saying we found a weakness? We have an advantage? [he noticed that as well but- might as well just go with it.]

Hyahaha aahh now you sound like my superiors! Of course I know the code-.... but I really hate to just do whatever the guys on top are telling me to do. I trained a lot of the recruits, but eventually I was kicked out. I'm the best at my job though... being a mercenary and a bodyguard.

Of course we do. We can still surprise them. They think us predictable, and yet, they did not stop us until the boat was complete.

[His voice shifts at this point to be just a little strict, not too angry or stern. But, his voice does hold the tone of someone with tons of battle experience, at least that of a colonel. But he looks way, way too young to hold or have held such a position.] As I should - la Légion étrangère is all about its esprit de corps. "Honneur et Fidélité" is our motto, non? "Honor and Fidelity". This means fidelity to your fellow Légionnaires, as well as your commanding officers. Without honor and fidelity, everything would fall apart.

I do not doubt you are a good mercenary and a good bodyguard. I would not be surprised if you were as good as you say, mais, if you are simply not a team player, military service is probably not for you, mon ami.
