Elf [video] Chinese

[he had been looking all by his lonesome for England, but, of course, he couldn't be found]

Hey, anyone happen to see England? [he frowns that wasn't English or German coming out of his mouth]

What the hell?! Don't you Rulers have anything better to do than screw with me?! I know I'm awesome, but I want to relax! [yep, Pru is pissed and for a moment, he has forgotten all about the original reason he posted]

That unawesome trick with the believable memories right after giving me feathers in my groin! Then you change my language skills after taking England from me?! England, what have you bastards done to him?! [he doesn't really expect this message to be viewed or understood by the Rulers, but he needed to vent]

[ Her sudden German isn't helping either. Along with speaking in the language she herself usually wouldn't understand either, she gestures to signal speaking and then just helplessly shrugs ]

[and things just got worst. He knew, instinctively that the girl was speaking German, a language he spoke for near a thousand years, but he couldn't understand it]

Damnit!

[he pauses no reason to take his anger out on her, she wasn't responsible for it. Instead of launching into a rant he holds up a finger indicating one moment]

[he comes back with a piece of paper, at first it was Chinese characters that appeared on the paper, but then he realized that it wasn't writing in the right language he changed to drawing crude pictures]

[France can tell something's wrong, even if he can't understand anything Prussia is saying. So he appears, giving him a bit of a sympathetic look, even if he can't understand the whole thing. And he sort of mimes giving a hug, even if it looks a little awkward over the video feed.]

What are you even...? [at least bewildered look conveys correctly... or at least it should, but since he's already realized that France and he wouldn't understand each other he draws another crude picture]

[He can tell it has something to do with England, but he's not sure what for a moment as he puzzles it out. If Prussia is distressed, then that could only mean something happened to him.

Then the X must mean that he's gone somewhere.

Francis quickly scrambles for paper and a pen, and draws Prussia a picture.

He's trying to ask whether Prussia's looked around on the whole island, but he's not sure how well he conveys it.]

[he looks at the picture for a moment and misunderstands... though draws the correct conclusion about the situation]

So he's really gone?

[he looks sad and draws a picture of a circle with trees and flags on it, France, America, Lithuania, and Liechtenstein being among them. He then draws a bunch of blue waves and beyond those a house and England's flag. When he shows the image he gives a questioning look]

[France understands the determined meaning, or at least, mostly.]

It may be he has gone home... I am not sure.

[He then realizes he's still unintelligible to Prussia, and frowns, so he draws a picture of a thumbs-up, to indicate his answer, but then kind of shrugs himself to show he's not sure.]

[he hopes that it was the correct conclusion because the alternatives were not good.

He nods, looking a bit sad]

[And in response, Francis again draws, this time a French flag and a Prussian flag plastered on neighboring houses, with an arrow from the French flag to the Prussian flag, with a question mark over the arrow's path.

Hopefully the meaning is clear enough in that one.]

[he doesn't like to admit it, but yeah, he'd like that. He nods and draws crepes and other French food. Feed him to knock the sadness out]

[Francis nods in understand, smiling just a tiny bit as he cuts off the feed, to go next door.]

[he cuts his own feed and waits. He answers the door for France when he arrives]

[And Francis, of course, gives him a sympathetic smile, and even before stepping into the house he's enveloped Prussia into a hug. A comforting, friendly one.]

[and for once he won't protest the comfort. He gives into it and grips France tight]

Don't disappear on me.

[and he is glad France doesn't understand what he's saying at the moment because he doesn't want to be "awesome" at the moment]

I can't understand a word you're saying, Prussia...

[But Francis is happy to keep hugging him until Prussia makes a move to let go.]

[he slowly starts letting France go after a few minutes, more confident that France isn't going to disappear on him]

[And with a little nod, and a bit of a smile, France gently grabs Prussia's arm, and takes him into the kitchen, where France starts searching for the proper things to cook crêpes with.]

[Prussia follows and wonders what France is going to make. The fridge has very little that isn't beer... though there's some wurst in there. There's also potatoes somewhere, but not in the fridge. France is probably going to have to imagine everything up]

[At first, Germany frowns at the screen. Okay. He's noticed by now that he can't understand anyone here at this point, so his jaw remains clenched close tightly. Though he can tell by his brother's tone that the older nation is bothered by something. So he puts the communicator down and takes half a step back from it before lifting his right hand in a calm down! gesture before utilizing sign language to ask what's wrong.

Though, in all honesty, he has no idea if Prussia understands that even. It's been Austria that taught him how to use it.]

[and he understands absolutely zero, so he holds up the picture he had made for France to try to convey the fact that England was missing]

[Germany reaches up to press his fingers to his forehead, muttering something in a language that sounds related to Norwegian before shaking his head and facing the screen again.

And he shrugs. Shrugs are international, aren't they?

The shrug is followed by a rather casual slit-throat gesture performed with the thumb of his right hand and decorated with an indifferent look. Yes. For all he cares, each of his enemy can just drop dead. That may even be the only reason that France would finally stop being such a nuisance to him.]

[and misunderstanding can even happen without words, he switches to private because he wasn't going to share his reaction with everyone else]

NO! NO! NO! YOU COULDN'T HAVE!

[he can't even draw he's distraught and horrified, visibly. Congrats Germany, you have made your brother believe you to be a murderer]

[Well. And Germany doesn't entirely see why his brother would react this upset either. He merely tilts his head indifferently and shrugs again, casually. There's no reason to be upset after all. Germany simply stated his own opinion.

He visibly rolls his eyes at his brother in response.]

[he calms down enough to draw another picture. This one is of a stick Germany (with the flag of the German Empire, since that's the one he knows) standing over a stick figure with a rather shaky Union Jack with a lot of red around it.

He shows the image and then lowers it and draws a big "X" over it and looks imploringly]

[He narrows his eyes at the image a little. Well. It's a flag he recognizes as his and at first almost feels approving enough of the display to actually praise it with a small smile. That is until his brother crosses it out, causing the German to grimace and snort, an angry twitch creeping onto his face. Exhaling ahrply, Germany picks up a notepad himself and hastily, with obviously rising anger, scribbles down a response.

It is, in fact, pretty much a mere copy of Prussia's image, only that the flags are exchanged and there is a large green hook next to it followed by a rushed, yet clearly emphasized questionmark. Germany only shows the picture for a few short moments before tearing it apart angrily and cutting off the connection with a frustrated growl.

Yes. Sure. He knows he can't win against that stipid island and his brother and all their allies and he will lose this war, but for what reason does his own brother need to rub it right into his face at a time like this?! And what's so okay about that even?]

[he stares at the screen a few moments, even though the connection has been cut. If he manages to get his language skills back he is determined to find Germany and get an explanation]

[Even with all the Chinatowns scattered around the US, America still can't quite make out hide nor hair of what Prussia's saying. He waves his hands down slowly.]

Whoa, whoa there, feller! Hold yer horses! If yer needin' our help or somethin', you gotta slow down! Hey, I got it! Prussia, you know how charades work right? Come on, gimmie a hand here! What's eatin' ya?

[It didn't help that whatever came out of America's mouth was incoherent, but his waving and pantomimes were only making him look like he's one brick short of a load.]

[and his reaction to America's motions was even more WTF than his reaction to France]

You do know that I can't understand a word you're saying, right?

[he holds up another picture]

Well lookie there! Yer up for a game of Pictionary, I reckon! Alrighty, so it's my turn to guess first! [America taps his chin as he tries to decipher the meaning of the artwork. He looks a little annoyed when he finally interprets it completely wrong.]

I gotta say, Prussia, why's my flag so freakin' tiny?! [He points to himself and then puts his thumb and forefinger close to each other to indicate something 'small'.] I don't get what's goin' on, unless yer saying ol' England leaped off the roof of our house or somethin'! Did he get drunk again?!

[based on America's tone he can tell that whatever it was America was blabbering it wasn't the correct answer.

He faceplants into his desk]

You are such an idiot.

[he holds up another picture, this time it shows the house with the US and Prussian flags in the window and UK flag way far away outside of the house]
