Has anyone felt unusual lately? Changed their minds on any subject, or had wide swings in mood that are not typical of them. Or, if you've observed this behavior in others, you may mention that as well.
... Okay, those first two sounded pretty okay, but the last one is just ridiculous. I'm not going to sacrifice my personality for some kids who can't sleep without a bedtime story.
If it really ends up being the reason, I'm going to make sure to punch them in the face twice as hard once the time comes that we'll be able to do that.
