[ He was dead. He was enjoying be--well. Not really. It sucked having a huge scar going all the way across his stomach and being forced to re-live everything in dream bubbles. Tremendously. But when he sat up, rubbed his ganderbulbs, and got an eyeful of this unfamiliar setting, it still wouldn't click that apparently being dead was not what he was doing any more. His dream-self was dead, after all. There was just no way he could be alive. ]
Just wuh-what the flyin' fuck is goin on here!? This newer happened!
[ This never happened to him. It wasn't a memory, and he was not pleased, if the indignant frustration and haughty demand in his voice was any indication. An--WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS ATROCITY ON HIS BODY? He didn't even get to notice there was an open compact on the bed, recording him. He wouldn't realize there was a paper on the bed saying something about replacing Ares, or that his new hivemates were some cats and Guinevere. Whoever those assholes were. He just jumped off the bed and started flipping out, holding up a fold of the white-drapes-greeks-tried-to-pass-as-clothes while just..staring at them incredulously. He also wouldn't yet notice his scar was gone, or that his eyes were yellow and silver again.
He then immediately ran for what looked like the closet and started tearing through it. Leather body armor and sandals started flying past the compact. ]
Wuh-what is all this hideous shit!? These ain't my clothes, this is gaudy fuckin' horseshit a carpenter drone wuh-wouldn't ewen touch wuh-with a shit-encrusted showel!! Seriously, as if gettin' killed by some glowuh-win' asshole wuh-wasn't bad enough, but nowuh-wuh the uniwerse has personally taken it upon itself'a torture me more wuh-with these fuckin'...peasant rags!? [ Woe be unto Eridan. ]
