[Prussia has been trying to figure out how to work the mirror communicator since he showed up several days ago, but this is the first time he managed to get the thing to turn on, now he's pressing buttons at random, looking annoyed. As everyone else is a wooden puppet, so is he.]

So dis ist a communication device? [his voice has a pretty thick German accent]

[he ends up switching to text, by accident, and it's several minutes for him to realize this]

Which button turns it back?

[several minutes later it's voice, he managed to get the text off]

--unawesome! Stupid wooden fingers. Can't even ask about that. OI! BRIT--[he shuts the mirror thing to go find his roommate, cutting the device off mid word.]

[England is in the kitchen trying to keep cool. several parts of him have already flared up, and he has some termite holes near his ankle]

I thought I was supposed to be a unicorn... Bloody hell... [oh. he hears Prussia] In here! [near the cool box thing]

[he's been more careful with his now wooden body, but he's a bit singed in several places]

Oi! How does this thing work? [he tosses the compact mirror thing down on a counter and crosses his arms, glaring at it]

Hey, be careful with that... [he pushes himself up to his feet, slowly... he'd been sitting on the ground because it was cool, and because he wanted to keep off his ankle. it didn't hurt, since everything was made of wood, but he'd rather it not break off, or something] We need those things to talk to the other people here!

Ich don't want a lecture! Just tell me how to make it work! [he pokes the object with a wooden finger]

[hmph! England snatches the compact up and opens it. gently. when he does so, it sends up a stream of glittery dust that rains down on them............. And look how pleased he is at that!]

[deadpan] Don't suppose you can figure out how to turn that off either? [he doesn't particularly care for being covered in glittery dust every time he opens the compact]

[BUT IT'S CUTE. i mean] Ah... n-no. I haven't figured that one out yet. Haha! [but he hadn't been trying at all. AHEM]

Anyway, look here! When you touch the top mirror, you can send out messages through a technique called... movies, I think it was? You can see another bloke's face and talk to them one-on-one, even if they are far away. Isn't that extraordinary?

[Prussia looks at the top mirror] Movies? [he's never heard of the word. For a moment he puts it as a nuance of the English language that he hadn't yet come across, but the way England said it made him believe it wasn't even an English word. He puts the knowledge away for later.]

Ja, if it works.

And the bottom mirror allows you to write letters and send them to many people to read at once. Watch! [pushes the bottom screen and starts writing letters with his finger and they appear on the upper screen]

That's pretty awesome. [he's starting to look curious and interested again, an accomplishment since he's a puppet]

[hands the compact back to Prussia]

It is, isn't it? Like magic. You just need to practice and you'll get used to it.

Oi! Wait, how do I see other messages? [he knows England has been messing with his compact for a few days now]

New messages will show up on the mirror when you open it. Then you can reply to them.

[he opened it and looked at it] It doesn't seem to be working, there are no messages!

No one's said anything yet. New messages will appear when people make them.

Everyone should be sending me messages! [now that he knows how to work the item, it has become an obsession]

[he would sweatdrop if he were not a puppet]

Idiot. Maybe they will if you leave a message first and introduce yourself. Why don't you try?

Oh! [he decides to make a new message, to introduce himself to other people]
