[ The first thing Sasuke managed to do when he found his feet again was to drag himself to the nearest place that looked even remotely familiar. That happened to be the forest, which looked so comforting to him with its dark tree-trunks and swaying leaves. It had taken much of his energy just to make it that far, fair kimono dotted with blood and his right arm cradled against his chest.

It took the rest of his energy to escape from the very place he had fought so hard to get. Never had he met animals such as those in his life, ones that turned on him with blank eyes and attacked him with no provocation.

The small man collapsed on the edge of the wood, sinking into an exhausted pile of silk and limbs. ]

[He wishes to protest--but he can't, because it really is all too much a strain.

So instead he does slowly lean as well, sliding to the ground after a moment, hand reaching up to gently clasp his bandaged eye.]

Is there...anything I can bring to you...?

[ No, he is in no condition to go anywhere. But he will, if asked. ]

[firstwife]

You can recover your strength. I need nothing else currently.

[Just wakaaaaaa]

[ Sasuke will just slump here, then. Sounds good to him. ]

[firstwife]

[Sounds good to him too. Despite his desire to get up and keep searching, now he has to keep an eye on Sasuke as well.

And he's wiped. So they're both slumped.

Welp.]

[monkeyjump]

[ Sasuke, too, is thinking about Yukimura.

Not about the fact nothing was done about that whole bleeding issue.

So do not mind him if he goes rather pale and starts to wonder why he is so dizzy. ]

[firstwife]

[And then there is a waifu crouched in front of you, Sasuke. He is already reaching for his shirt and his wounds.

Sit still while he fixes you.]

[monkeyjump]

Rokuro-san?

[ Sasuke starts to pull away automatically, confused. ]

[firstwife]

Don't move.

If these are not tended to, they will get infected or you will bleed out.

[:V That will not help Yukimura-sama.]

[monkeyjump]

[ Oh. That...

makes sense.

Sasuke stills, though his eyes stay on the other man. ]

[firstwife]

[YEAH YOU'D BETTER SIT THERE. Rokuro's just going to find some makeshift cloths, but he has no water (what is plumbing).

Regardless, he still has water--

...

...or so he should, as the brave of water, but he pauses when he finds that he...actually cannot summon any water at all.]

Rokuro-san?

[ Sasuke speaks his name again as he sees that change in his expression. Were his wounds that bad? Or was it something else? ]

[firstwife]

...

[He shakes his head quietly, quickly, shaking the thoughts from his mind and focusing on bandaging up Sasuke's injuries.]

We will have to clean them properly later.

[monkeyjump]

[ The boy does not understand, but he accepts it with a weary nod. ]

[firstwife]

[He sits back some time later, the injuries taken care of as best as possible, and sighs.]

...We shall be able to do nothing without shelter and rest.

[monkeyjump]

... I awoke in a room I did not recognize.

[ That is shelter, at least, if completely confusing shelter. He lifts his good hand to point in the direction he came from. ]

[firstwife]

[He breathes out once, nodding.]

As did I, though mine is likely further away. Lead the way--we will temporarily take shelter there.

[monkeyjump]

[ Sasuke slowly climbs to his feet, gettign his bearings. Then, quietly, he starts to lead the other man back to the house he awoke in. ]

[firstwife]

[Rokuro just follows quietly--they are both able to steel themselves even when doing poorly, for the sake of surviving and getting back to their lord, even if it is getting difficult to stand up.]

[monkeyjump]

[ This room is still unfamiliar to him and yet it is a relief to get to it. The bed seems cruelly high, lifted off the ground like that, and itn any case, he feels he should let Rokuro take it; thus he slumps back to the ground, leaning against a dresser. ]

[firstwife]

[Rokuro just points to the bed. Yeah no.]

Rest yourself properly.

[And then he picks up the letter that mirrors the one he had...

And sighs as he reads it.

...]

I had thought it to be a joke in poor taste.

[monkeyjump]

[ B-but...

Sasuke hesitates. Then he is a good ninja and does what he is told, crawling onto the mattress.

Yukimura is not here, so he defaults to Rokuro for orders. He says nothing, but the way he looks at the letter questioningly makes it clear he has no idea what it is. ]

[firstwife]

[He cannot memorize the text anymore, but that does not matter to him--he merely steps to the bed and hands over the letter, crossing his arms and ignoring the way it pulls on his injury as he thinks.

...

He does not like this entire situation--it is very clear.]

[monkeyjump]

[ Sasuke reads it, startled by the information he finds. ]

... if this is truth... lucky we are, perhaps, that Yukimura-sama has been spared.

[firstwife]

[He just breathes out quietly, subtly leaning against the wall to support himself.]

...It will be our duty to find a way back to him.

[It is indeed a very good thing yukimura isn't here.]
