Sensei's not here anymore!! I looked bearywhere for him and I couldn't find him! My nose can't even sniff him out either...

Has anyone seen him? He looks like this!!

It certainly is interesting. [He's not sure he'd call it fun, but he smiles a little back. Teddie-smiles are amazingly infectious, with those sparkles.]

Well, I explained it to Hamuko-chan, but in my world, I live 'inside the TV'. It's where all shadows live!

All.. Shadows? [ And now a bit of worried frowning. As far as he can remember, Hamuko never mentioned this to him...

Also, it brings to mind the memory of the Shadow (or at least looking back, he thinks it was a Shadow...) that had been under the bed when he was a child here...]

[Pause. He thinks about the memory again and the idea of Teddie living in a world that apparently is populated by shadows.]

[ It's written all over Teddie's face, but he looks away and thinks for a minute. What if Minato hated him? He knew sensei and the others didn't care, but at the same time, he didn't know about other people....]

Y...Yeah, I am. A shadow.

I see. [ Minato nods but -- doesn't really seem too fussed about it, though seeing how Teddie looks as he says it prompts him to reach out and put a hand on Teddie's shoulder. Teddie seems pretty tactile, so maybe it'll help assure him that Minato really doesn't care about Teddie being a shadow. It's just nice to know. ]

... I don't mind if you're a Shadow. I actually had a close friend who was a Shadow back home. ... Besides, you're still Teddie-kun, regardless of what you are.

[ A bright smile breaks out on Teddie's face as he hugs Minato suddenly, looking very very happy when he pulls back ]

Minato-kun is beary nice! [ oh no...the sparkles have come ]

You are like my second sensei!!

[Oh god, not the sparkles! No one can resist the sparkles! ... but after a moment of surprise, Minato returns the hug briefly before Teddie pulls back. Smiling (what is with those bear puns, anyway?), he shakes his head at the compliment and then blinks.]

Second... sensei?

Yeah! Like my sensei away from sensei!

Hm... I think so. They might not be quite what you're used to, because I don't think they sell flavored syrup at the grocery store, but we could probably figure something out with ordinary fruit.
