[ It had taken Tsuna awhile to figure out the communicator, and even longer to understand that he wasn't in that machine that Shouichi made. After a round of anti-"I'm having a dream" moments, he decided to take a look outside, after making sure that he was securely wrapped in sheets and a blanket, only to see the damage surrounding the island. Suddenly, he turns on the communicator, looking as angry and a pint sized mafia boss in a sheet toga can look... ]

Which one of you did this? I know some of you are here, so there isn't a point in hiding.

[ The feed cuts after a mumble of "This is coming out of someone's paycheck..." ]

[ Well look who decided to show up on the island. Hibari stares at the post for a little moment, before he flicks over to the video function to make his presence known. ]

Not my paycheck.

[ He looks slightly amused that the first thing Tsunayoshi had thought was that it had been caused by one of them. But he's not really surprised, and it shows. But that's not really important - what's probably more noticeable to Tsuna is that Hibari is glowing, and that his eyes, instead of their usual blue-grey, are a molten gold. ]

It was not any of us, Sawada Tsunayoshi. [ Then another pause before he adds, a wry twist to his lips visible: ] Why is it that you are more than often not unclothed when you arrive here? [ Yeah, he notices things like that. So what? He's accustomed to the sight now after Sawada had spent his teenage years tearing around Namimori in his boxers. ]

[ There's a sheepish smile and a slight blush at the comment ] I suppose I can't really keep track of my clothes.

[ Then he notices and looks genuinely startled ]

Eh?! Hibari, you're glowing and...your eyes?!

[ A soft snort here. Sawada sure was slow sometimes. ] A byproduct of being in this place for too long, nothing more. [ More importantly, he can hear what sounds like Sawada's voice in close proximity (that is, not coming out of the compact), and decides to go and investigate. So yes, there probably is one Cloud Guardian leaning out of his window and staring at you. And looking mighty amused about something. ]

Welcome to Arcanarum. [ Here, since he's so nice, he's giving you proper clothes. Try to catch the bundle that he just threw at you, Tsuna. ]

[ Tsuna is unsurprised by Hibari being near; it seemed logical they were living together, he coudl hear someone talking in the other rooms. Fumbling the clothes and accidentally letting them land on the floor, he frowns and picks them up, proceeding to change without much concern for the other standing there. You get used to things like that in the mafia...]

Arcanarum? [ His voice is muffled as he pulls the shirt over his head. Even though he's an adult, the clothes are still a little too big on him...]

An enchanted island where the Φυτοφάγα-- [ he suddenly pauses and frowns - where had that come from? - before continuing on, now looking none too happy. ] -herbivores known as the Rulers have placed us after taking us from our home worlds. [ He scowls in the direction of the castle up the hill. ]

Magic is a real thing on this island, it seems. [ Now there's something he thought he'd never be saying to anyone. Welp. ] There are occasional events, played out for the amusement of the Rulers - the destruction you see around the island is a direct result of one that happened not a week ago.

[ Oh and he almost forgot. ] These events usually result in a physical or psychological change relating to the denizen that has been chosen for you. [ Case in point; he's still glowing. And wasn't that nice of him, to give you a nice and concise rundown of what's going on? ]

Magic? Rulers? Are you sure I'm just not in some elaborate dream? [ Tsuna questioned, pinching the top of his hand. Wincing, he shook it off and sighed, noticing he wasn't in an elaborate dream. Well...]

That explains why I have no clothes. The note said something about being Simba from that movie.

... Again? [ HEAVES A SIGH. What is with these Rulers and their fetish with sticking Sawada into that particular role... ]

Your younger selves from the other timelines have been here before, [ he continues on, bending to pick a puppy off the ground that had been batting at his leg and giving it head scritches - meet Verglas, his new wolf pup. ]

The first one had just recently arrived in our timeline, back in our world. [ And apparently he hadn't even finished training the kid before Sawada had been brought here. ] The second one was from the alternate line after he defeated that white snake. [ yeah, he means Byakuran. Messing around with time is totally a normal thing for them. ]

Ah. [ Tsuna thinks for a moment. Two times before now? They must have had a hard time...it was kind of frustrating being here though, given that he didn't know much about the world...and apparently had been here before. But then Tsuna notices the puppy and all things are completely gone from his brain. He made a face as not to seem scared, but it was failing to be covered up. ]

...C...Could you take that somewhere else?

Hm. [ Don't think he doesn't notice you backing away very very slowly, Tsuna. And it's kind of evil of him, but he smirks and offers the pup to Tsuna in one hand - coincidentally, Verglas yawns widely, showing off his set of teeth - honestly not very impressive at this stage, but it's probably enough to creep Tsuna out. Wuss. ]

Still scared of dogs, Sawada Tsunayoshi?

[ Another deep frown, and he's stepped back a little bit ]

Kyouya, stop. You know how I feel about dogs.

[ Can you hear his eyeroll here? Because he is. Rolling his eyes so hard. ] He's not going to bite you, [ he says dryly, though he does place Verglas back on the floor so the pup can scamper out of the room, having gotten his head scritches. ]

So. What will you do now?

[ He sighs, but still watches the dog ]

I suppose stay here and figure out a way to get home. I guess asking for a meeting with those Rulers is out of the question?

Unless you want to get tossed into the dungeons, then yes. [ It's not very comfortable down there, honestly. Hibari doesn't recommend it at all. ]

Other attempted escape plans have failed as well. [ He shrugs, as if to say 'well, what can you do', before continuing on. ] You've seen the other two, I presume. [ Gokudera Hayato probably isn't too pleased about you being here, actually. ]

[ A nod. ] I have.

Then you'll know that they are living here as well. [ Sigh. It's just like back home again - the thought should irk him; and it does, but not nearly as much as it had back then. Hmm. Maybe he has changed a little. ]

Gokudera Hayato is none too pleased with you. [ In fact, Hibari wouldn't be surprised if he took to avoiding the house again and staying at the pub. ] The usual warnings apply to Rokudo. [ which reminds him - they should be able to have their fight sometime soon. Joy. ]

So, basically, don't be in a room alone with him? [ Tsuna's teasing, but his smile fades when he thinks about Gokudera. ]

He has every right to be. I lied to everyone about what was happening. But if I hadn't...

More or less. [ He smirks, but shakes his head when Sawada begins to worry about everything else. ]

If you hadn't, we'd all be dead, [ he scoffs, a hard light in his eyes. He has no qualms about admitting what is the truth, after all. Even if it did sting. ] Don't bother regretting your decision, Sawada Tsunayoshi. He will learn to get over it and respect your choices and what you did. [ A long sigh here. Hibari is just not cut out for this inter-Family relationship advice thing. ]

If not, then he is an idiot.

[ Tsuna doesn't seem convinced but...]

I know, but I don't expect him to do that anytime soon. I know if I was in his position, I'd be mad too.

[ He narrows his eyes at the other for another moment, before shrugging carelessly. Well, that's between Sawada and Gokudera to figure out. He has nothing to do with it. ]

That is between you and him. Deal with it in any way you see fit. [ A pause before he continues, apparently done with the conversation and only sticking around for a few more minutes at most. ] However, keep in mind that this is my house, and I will not tolerate any unruly behaviour.

[ Tsuna stares at him for a second before snickering slightly ]

You never change.

[ He snorts inelegantly. ] Change is overrated. [ He thinks he has changed, though, if only a little. He's more mature now. 8I In any case, he's pretty much done with talking, so after another nod to Tsunayoshi, he walks off to the kitchen to make something to eat. Why yes, he is the one in charge of the meals. Mostly. ]

[ Tsuna lets Hibari be, looking around the house to familiarize himself with the surroundings, but also to stay out of Hibari's way. On the plus side, he felt happy that his family was here...or at least some of them. ]
