[ Hello Arc, this particular communicator seems to have fallen into the paws of some very energetic pups, because the poor thing is being batted around by several of them, tumbling from pup to pup, and it doesn't look like the torture for the communicator will end anytime soon.

Actually, that's wrong, because it's suddenly been plucked away from the pups by someone's hand and snapped shut. A time later, a text appears across the networks. ]

[Arya opens her mouth to protest, then closes it, then opens it and closes it one more time. She must remember what Sansa said earlier. They must stay under the guise of their denizen's names or bad things will happen - and now she's seen that firsthand. She stops herself and nods enthusiastically, like they're watching her.]

[ He only nods slowly, unfazed by the use of the denizen names - because judging by how the younger girl had started, she had been intending to introduce herself with her true name. No matter - caution was to be encouraged in a place like this. Cat, or whatever her true name is, has clearly had some practice at this before. ]

[ He nods again, before terminating the connection to start herding the pups back out to the lounge room in preparation for their arrival. Enkidu's already dropped by and taken one, so there are three left, but they're still every bit as energetic as they were before. ]

[And just like that, Arya's out the door of their house, pulling her sister's arm. She is so ready to have a wolf again, you don't even understand. She was so used to having something padding along at her side back home that when she had to let Nymeria go, and came here with nothing, it was like a little part of her had gone away.

She's chattering away excitedly to her sister, brainstorming names already.]

What should we name her? It should be something strong and fast sounding, like a proper wolf would have.

[sansa laughs and allows arya to pull her, barely stumbling and just as excited, if a bit less demonstrative about it.]

I thought perhaps Alysanne, after the good queen. Or her dragon, Silverwing.

[it seemed like a good compromise, since alysanne had been a powerful queen like nymeria of the rhoynar, only she was remembered as a gracious lady, wise and beautiful and kind; a protector of the realm in peacetime, and not a conqueror. their wolf would be strong, but she would be sweet and gentle, as well.]

[Arya tries it out a few times, first getting a feel for it, and then calling it louder, as if she was to call their wolf to them.]

[She looks up at Sansa, nodding and pulling at her sleeve.]

It might sound a bit odd to someone who doesn't know the story. It's more like a dragon's name than a wolf's.

[Oh, Sansa's right...it does sound like a dragon's name. Maybe they could tell everyone the story of Queen Alysanne when they met Silverwing, but...

Oh, she has another idea.]

We could get her a necklace with a bit of metal on it that's shaped into wings...

Or, we could do like the Targaryens did with their dragons and children and make up new names.

Maybe there's a maester after all. I bet Waver could become a very good maester. He's very smart. Do you know him?

[Arya's gotten way out of control with this raven thing. She will be master of all the animals. All of them.]

Lord Waver Velvet? [it's not a particularly common name.] He could never be anything but a lord. We're nearly in the navy district, do you see?

[she points at a blue building a few blocks ahead of them.]

[ His place should be pretty... distinguishable, if only for the flaming horses circling around in the air above the roof. He's currently sitting on the roof, watching their approach calmly - shreds of their conversation blow to him, carried by the wind, but it's not much to listen to, really. He'll show himself when they're closer. ]
