Entry 002 ♣ Video ♣ Tiny Giant(?) Robots, Ahoy!

[A young man pops onto the feed, and seems to be messing with getting it to stand on its own, finally managing to steady the camera after a few seconds. For those of you familiar with him, he has an interesting change of clothes - it's a spandex-like covering that seems to fit him perfectly. On his wrists and ankles seem to be electrical diodes of some sort, and his background is a futuristic cockpit, buzzing to life with holoscreens and various other circuitry glowing.

Despite the shrinking that just occurred, Sai Saici seems very excited.]

Hey, I know we've turned small and all by the Rulers, but there's some good news - I shrunk enough that I could fit into my Gundam! And guess what? It works! I got in and started it up no problem! So if the Rulers try and pull something on us, you can count on me and my Gundam to fight back!

[He does a few martial artist stances, seemingly to prove his point.] Ha! Ya! Huuuuuua! Take that, Rulers!

[It's at this point that he stops goofing off, and goes back to grinning.]

So I guess if you need anything... well, I'm here to help out, as a member of the Shuffle Alliance! Sai Saici, signing out!

... have you ever heard of a mobile suit? It's basically a... well, a robot with a pilot. A Gundam is a bigger and better version of that. It's a lot more powerful!

[And now he grins.]

My Gundam's got a lot of firepower - and a few other tricks, to boot.

Yeah, humans started making them around fifty years ago. Er, well, for me at least... hehe.

[He gives a bit of a sheepish smile.]

It's pretty fast! It has rocket boosters in the legs, so it can fly. I've seen one of my friends travel halfway around the world in a Gundam, all in less than a few hours!

[... though that one was a rather extenuating circumstance, but the point still stands that it can be done!]

That sounds like a very convenient piece of technology.

[It is surprising how modern technology seems capable of things that not even magecraft can accomplish.]

How many people can it carry?

It sure is! My Gundam's been through a lot, but it's great that I can use it again!

Well, it's only designed for one, but as long as I don't have to fight, I could probably carry a few people in the cockpit and a few in its hands.

Someone has recently proposed a meeting between all of us who were shrunk. Is it possible your Gundam can help transport us?

Sure! I think I can manage that. And my bro Domon's got a Gundam too - I'm sure he could help.

So where exactly was this girl asking us to meet anyway?

She stated that she was in the violet district at the time of her call.

Are people already heading over there? I didn't see the announcement, so...

They should be. I am going to be setting out from my house in the Navy district. There will likely be people coming from other districts as well.

So I guess this means I should meet up with you, huh? Though I don't know who else is wanting to meet up, so I may have to take more than one trip.

Perhaps. Given our current state, I cannot say how and where anyone will meet.

[He's returning her bored glance with a smirk, so he doesn't seem too worried.]

And if it wasn't useful, then why's it been a staple of martial arts for thousands of years?

[ Right right, ancient fighting techniques or whatever you call them. Raw magic power still trumps those pretty dances of his though, or at least that's what she's telling himself with that irritating smirk.

If only she had Skadi her size would've mattered little… ] And can it bring us back to our former selves? I should think not.

The Rulers do this sort of stuff all the time, y'know - but it always fixes itself somehow. [He goes back to being rather nonchalant about the whole thing, with a gentle shrug.] I think it should be back to normal within half a week or so.

... though of course, until then, I'd think we need to focus on how to survive at this size.

[ That's such a relief that she can't help but roll her eyes at the response. He may have a good point, but any good arguments tend to get overridden by the fact that they're mere inches tall. ]

And you think being a creature this small is amenable to survival for…however long their whims last? [ Even though she knows the answer here is "pretty much"— ] What are we expected to do, then? Band together and sing songs by a campfire? Tch.
