[Yuuta is the kind of person to follow the rules to the spirit and the letter of the word—so when he images some things up, he is careful not to make anything too familiar. No special brands, nothing he can imagine inside of a box or container.

So in a cleaned corner of his home, the smell of burning wood hovering in the air despite all of the cleaning he has done and all of the other fires he has put out, he is kneeling in front of a small altar: on it is a carefully cut branch from a pine tree he dared to go into the forest for, a plate of a few mochi balls that he made himself (he couldn’t very well conjure up something he could picture so clearly, so the things to make them seemed to be a good loophole), a bowl of some sort of soup, and some tangerines.

Someone is going back to tradition today.

But with a small match, he lights up some incense, and starts to pray.]

Rulers, if you can hear me, please contact me when you are able. I want to know why you are so temperamental with us when you originally brought us here.

Perhaps he did, or perhaps it was the circumstances in the stories. It is different here, so you don't have to react as if you're being forced to kill someone by Voldemort.

But Merlin is way more pleasant character, isn't he?

I don't know yet. The legends in my world are iffy at best. He could be like anything.

What do the legends in your world say about him?

[meitori]

Well, it depends upon what source you take from. Some say that he was really a war general, others say that he was most likely a Druid priest, and then you have some who say he really was a wizard. Then, you have those who think he is more of a serious character, or more scatterbrained, naive, all sorts of things.

Hmmm... so it seems nobody knows the clear truth.

How do you think, will you be able to know his real story? We never know what Rulers will invent, maybe we'll be able to find out the stories of our denizens and everything.

That is what I was thinking as well: piece by piece, the truth will be revealed. I will have to make sure write it down so it's not really forgotten as I fight against those memories replacing mine.

I'll have to make notes about this, too.

Wait...what? You mean our memories will be totally altered?

That is what others have been saying, and that is what I am assuming, as they want us to become these characters. I cannot imagine that it would be successful if we still remember our original lives.
